Old Dude, your morning postings do not go un- appreciated. It helps my mornings get off to a good start with a laugh or chuckle and some times in life now a days, as the Bible says, " Laughter doeth good like a good medicine"... and we all need a good dose.

I have occasionally shared a moment of prayer with theists who were in need of compassionate support at the time. I don't feel inauthentic in doing so, as I feel that the human I am supporting is more important than the imagined deity that they believe in. Do I pray for myself, or for others privately? No. I do what I feel needs to be done, and that is within my capacity to do, within the resources that are within my disposal....sometimes that is a matter of shared moments of silent contemplation.
