Champion plugs may work in cars ,, but ain't worth shit in old Shovelhead Harleys,, autolites or NGK's are far better ,, in my opinion,,,

 

I had the same trouble with rotary engines and Champion plugs. I could gap them small and have decent low end or wide and have good top end, but there was no sweet spot I could find that would do both. NGK always worked.

 

Just noticed I put a "T" for the "N" , for NJK's,,, don't know why I did that.
Shows I need to proofread my posts more often .
