Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

This reminds me of the kind of friends I have. The day I was leaving to go on leave from overseas I crashed my car into a pole and bent the front bumper in a V. I asked my buddies to see if they could "straighten it out" while I was gone. When I got back it was hanging from safety wire. They had heated it and completely flattened it out.

Overseas again, years later. I ask two engineer friends to make some measurements on my car so I can order the roll cage. I get home and across my windshield are these beautiful stencils that read USS WANKEL. The joke was on them. I kept the name and won a season championship in our autocross club and went on to set a dozen land-speed records with the car before I got scared and parked it.

Marines on Camp Lejeune made the paper when they painted their buddies car pink while he was overseas. He didn't like it and traded it in... We sold the car to a girl that just loved it.

 

It's an election year. I you don't recognize this sort of logic from media reports you aren't paying attention.
