I'm sorry, the humorous part of my earlier post(s) was likely missed by most. I left out the line that should've gone under the image that pointed out that the flame spreader was indeed present. It was just inserted in the inner wick tube upside down.

Sloth made a pretty good guess at an Aladdin 23. The kicker in the picture is that there's an Aladdin Lox-on mantle frame mounted to the Coleman gallery. I had to break out some parts of the two lamps to see how this was done. It's a brilliant adaptation and I'm amazed I haven't seen it before. The Aladdin mantle frame has eight fingers. Four on each side. If the two outer ones on one side are bent in slightly the frame can be inserted under one side of the gallery and then the remaining center fingers will flex in with just slight pressure. Once seated the tabs underneath can be bent back into place. It will even lock onto the inside of the slots where the Coleman mantle frame would mount on the outside. Once in place this way it is dimensionally identical in height and inner diameter to the Coleman frame. I've interchanged the mantles, not knowing I could've used the complete Aladdin mantle and frame.
