Can't think of many self assured assertive women who accept being gas-lit or having to endure paternalistic control freakery, beyond having to say f*ck off!

 

I think I'd be tempted to buy a season ticket to that show.

 

I think that might be an acquired taste.

 

This might explain why they don't seem to ever get on line and do a police call anymore anywhere on base. Trash everywhere. Maybe they can't bend over and reach the ground. I mentioned it to a retired SgtMaj friend of mine and he said "there's a lot of trash in uniform nowadays too."

Used to be I could write to the Daily News and get a comment in the editorial section. I need to find out if there's a modern version of the old newspaper editorial page. If I'm the only one noticing the weeds and trash on base I could at least point it out to others. Eventually it could be read by the right person who could get it fixed. ("fixed" is not how I would say it, but this is a family forum.)

 

Most of America is over weight and kids these days are over weight. When we grew up we played outside from dawn to dusk. Kids now sit inside watch TV and play video games get no exercise and live on junk food. My mom cooked from scratch now it's prepared high sugar high fat meals. It's no wonder recruits are over weight ---just another example of how our military is becoming a paper tiger
