Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

So I go to a new doctor's office today. I get all done with the procedure and step up to the counter to make my follow-up appointment. (Might as well be tomorrow, the knot on my finger that they drained was back to full size again before I got home.)
We do the co-pay thing, make the appointment. I'm chatting with two other nurses in the office when the appointment lady asks if she can take my picture for their patient records. I lean over the counter and tell her in a soft but firm voice "I'm in the Federal witness protection program, I can't allow you to take an image of me." Now she may have been persuaded by my long hair, beard, and glasses. At least I had a shirt on today with a name that matched what she had in front of her.

She had taken the bait, hook, line and sinker. She put the camera away and was moving on to other paperwork when I told her I was only kidding. She said she'd have to use that one herself. We all had a good laugh.

 

The Senate unanimously passed a formal dress code Wednesday, requiring business attire on the chamber floor, including a coat, tie and slacks for men.

 

Surprised they didn't blame "supply line shortages", or "Human caused climate change".
