Being a kid growing up in 1960s/70s, for me it would be "The Forbin Project" and "The Andromeda Strain"!

How far back in "history" do they go with “Black Queer Studies”?

It wasn't Black history that was the issue. It's mandated to be taught in Florida schools. The issue was about chapters with titles like “Intersectionality and Activism,” “Black Queer Studies,” “‘Postracial’ Racism and Colorblindness,” “Incarceration and Abolition,” “Movements for Black Lives” and “The Reparations Movement.”

That seems to be where the line from studies to activism and indoctrination was crossed.

 

Red, teenage years were horrible.

I never figured out how to win economically. I did achieve my life goals to be great at my industrial career, acclaimed and well paid for my skills. I make more than my childhood goal income and have a challenging job to utilize a lifetime of skill development to achieve the best results.

It was all a fucking lie. My salary has increased ten-fold. Inflation has outpaced it. I have about as much buying power per hour worked as I had as a ranch hand raising milo on a leased lot with borrowed equipment.

I raised a good Christian hard working family and they deserved better from me. I didn't train the chameleons they needed to be to capitalize off this lunacy before the fall and recover successfully. I couldn't see the changes.

I await watching it all burn down. I won't throw matches. Most of it doesn't deserve water.

I learned a lot more than baling hay and growing milo since the 70s. I will put that to damned good use. RED for the ride!

 

Does that student loan still seem like a good investment?
