Never "zed"..... NEVER!!

 

Us people from Michigan say “Pop” instead of “Soda” too.

 

I remember them having perforations on the front, you could open it up, pour in milk, and eat it right out of the box!

 

In Florida we say "soft drink".

In North Carolina it's usually "cold drink" which could be anything from sweet tea to adult beverages.

If it's more specific it might be "Co-cola" for and dark colored carbonated drink or "Sebmup" for citrus beverages.

Funny, with the birthplace of Pepsi-Cola just down the road I seldom hear anybody offer a Pepsi.

 

Cold drinks or cokes (which could mean any brand)

Old folks said soda water here in Texas.

 

Z = Zed here as well.

Soda/Pop = Soft Drink

Smarties were a stable for all kids when I grew up.

 

Not the lyrics I learned as a school kid.



But FanTales are on their way out

 

From what I've been seeing on the food and military ration YT channels, "Smarties" are totally different between the USA and the British Empire.

 

The guy who led my team before I did kept a bowl full of Dumdum suckers on the shop meeting table.

The first thing I did was replace the candy with Smarties because we were going in a new direction.
