Impeccable logic, OldDude, but it has to be said, that a the kid without a pencil (or any other writing instrument) is as like to fail a written examination also.

It is people with guns that are the instrument of death by shooting. Remove the gun from the person, or the person from the gun, and the probability of a gun killing decreases considerably.
