You are quite right, there are plenty of folk who wrap themselves in the stars and stripes who are not patriots either. When folk who fly MAGA flags, Swastika flags, and CSA Battle Flags whilst attacking the USA, and committing crimes, they are not acting patriotically, but resemble traitors to their country.

Stochastic terrorism is not patriotic, regardless of which flag staff oneis humping.
