Service rivalries are fun in nature... nothing more... CaboWabo5150 . I have served along side many corpsman back in the day and I agree with you... they are very capable. I served in the Army for 11 years, my son is an active Marine, my BIL was Navy and my Uncle was Air Force... amongst the several other extended family members, which have also served over the years. Pretty much the first thing we do when we see each other, is poke each other for their particular branch. All in good fun and camaraderie!!
But bottom line, we all have respect for each others service to the nation and I respect your service as well.
With that being said.....

Shoulda seen some of the ones I took note of just a handful of years ago, they were running in PT's every day per orders of the post CO to get them in shape. Some guys eat WAY too much and never exercise properly. Too many out of shape in the Army since the massive hiring and lowering of standards, but the USMC has long been considered hard core with higher expectations. Of course, that's not comparing the Airborne, Rangers, Green Berets and Special Forces to the Marines...that would be silly.
