Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

Yup, we start at age eight. By 12-14 most kids have shot and eaten a game animal. Yup, they're killers. They learn to do it quickly and humanely. They get to see what happens at the other end of their bullets path and understand that there is no do-over or reset once the trigger is pulled.

Most go on to be lifetime gun owners, hunters and productive members of society. All learn gun safety and correct firearm handling. This is our normal Chell, there's nothing new or conservative about it. This is what America does, not some video game or reality show, there's no party affiliation or any other restriction. You can even bring a pink gun if you like. A day at the range is very educational, and I'd invite you to come on out any time you're in town. I'll pay your range fee and introduce you to some nice folks.

It's a funny thing, I have no idea if they're conservative, liberal, what their religion is, if they're LGBTQ, or whatever, and I don't care.
As long as they keep the muzzle pointed down range and follow the safety rules ALL are welcome.

 

I have granddaughters like that. Their moms taught them well. Their pops rested a bit easier when the boys came around knowing the rules of courting had been well posted and consequences of breaking those rules had been vividly explained. I don't worry so much about my grand daughters, other people's grandsons on the other hand.......
