Yep.. That's when I could sleep ANYWHERE.. And in just about ANY position. With pretty much any type of aircraft flying just overhead.. Now a days, not so much..

 

I still pretty much can.

 

I can still sleep standing up as well....

 

I wouldn't be so sure about that. That's a 4500 pound carabiner and the webbing looks a lot like the riser and harness attachment for a paraglider. I have flown paragliders a fair amount and they all have an attachment point just like this.

When otherwise not tasked, and when the soldier's weapons and equipment are serviceable and replenished, a soldier's duty is to be fed, watered, and rested; because soldiers can't be certain when they'll next get the opportunity to be fed, watered and rested.

 

Exactly. I have napped on live fire ranges. The sound of the am-deuce will lull you to sleep. Damn snipers, tho, different story

 

Why bother with a scope? You couldn't see to shoot.
