Believe it or not ,, Taco Bell still has a dollar menu ,,,, it works as good as the 5 dollar meal.

 

I'll go to the range today and shoot the CZ with the 29" barrel. It barely makes a sound. It seems like the critters at the range are conditioned to constant gunfire. I have boring bees and hornets that return to their nests, turkeys and squirrels that wander across the range with bullets cracking overhead and I have wrens that nest under the eves of the range house. They hatch and grow up looking down range, and momma wren flies straight down the firing line above everyone's head to get in and out of her nest.

It's not the noises when we're firing that concern me. It's the noises when we aren't firing that make me anxious. Nobody wants to hear a bolt cycling or slamming into battery on a rifle when their back is turned toward it.

 

One year at my local outdoor range, there was a Quail that would strut out in front of the shooting benches, ignoring the bullets flying overhead.
