We've got some indian ruins that appeared twenty years ago at the shoreline in the salt marshes around here. They'd been just under the water for a few hundred years, but were dry then and folks were finding all sorts of pottery and artifacts. It's in a restricted area on the back side of Bogue Field that I probably can't get to nowadays, but it makes me curious what the water level there looks like today.

I'm familiar with this shoreline, and Swansboro hasn't changed much since it was settled.
