Relying on ancient mythology and fables to justify a 2A stance, makes as much sense as relying on the same ancient mythology to justify chattel slavery, denying female suffrage, denying same sex marriage equality, maintaining anti-miscegenation laws, and so forth. It may be convincing to those who already have an investment in the bronze age mythology referred to, but it is irrelevant to others who haven't swallowed (or who have swallowed, but later regurgitated) that particular brand of KOOLAID.

 

Then there's the Second Amendment.

Period.

Just to clear up your misconception,, they're not actually lick marks ,,, we're actually studying the terrain,, checking for avenues of attack, lines of fire , cliffs that we can drive the enemy to so they can jump to their death . Then we can sit on the edge of the cliffs ,, bask in our glory ,, and lick our crayons .
