The irony, isn't so much of any allegations of crickets coming from the Democrat side of the aisle, but the fact that Republicans were willing to loosen gun regulation even further still...Thanks to Hodkinson, the Republicans were able to get the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act 2017, among other pro gun legislation passed. From a RTKBA point of view...the Steve Scalise shooting was an unfortunate cloud, with a fortunate 2A silver lining.

I always heard there are no shadows cast on the moon . According to this pic ,, that would be incorrect.

Misunderstood. It's not like there's anything tall on the lunar surface to cast a shadow visible from here. The part of the moon that's dark during its' phases is in it's own shadow. You can watch shadows fill the larger craters at low angles. At new moon we can't see the darkened moon at all because it's in the shadow of the earth. During a lunar eclipse the earth blocks the sun shining on the moon.
