Yep when I was early teens my mother would fill them up and put in the freezer on the back porch. I if I caught them just starting to freeze I would lift the lever just enough to crack the ice and drink the cold water leaving hollow ice cubes. For some reason my mother didn't appreciate that

 

Had you not considered that it was the noise that Aleetha Gee Walton was making, rather than the text of the song that she was singing that attracted the searchers' attention?...what would the meme creator's conclusion have been had the woman been discovered performing a loud satanic ritual? 'Oh...the Devil looks after his own'?

It should also be noted that it is the woman's family that claimed that she had been singing 'Amazing Grace' at the moment that she had been found. Is this claim actually true? or is it an embellishment that fits well with their own faith commitments.(well intentioned pious frauds are not unknown in history Pious fraud - RationalWiki).there seems to be no discernable official report online, of her behaviour and condition at the time that she was found.

It should also be noted that the woman was in the early stages of dementia, which may explain her becoming lost in the first place...and yet...Jesus didn't seem to be at all interested in intervening, it taking 2 days for her family to even notice that she was missing, and a further 6 days for searchers to find her, some .8 of a mile away from her home....and yet, Jesus is given all the credit...when the human searchers were out there doing all the hard graft.

This story is a testament to the ability of the human body's evolutionary physiology to survive harsh environmental conditions. How much A.G.Walton contributed to her own survival has not yet been revealed...but if singing a song she had learned in her childhood helped her maintain her morale, then that, rather than the supernatural content of that song might have been as sufficient as any other inspirational song for the purpose of motivating her to keep on hanging on.



It also has to be wondered, that if the woman had been a devout Muslim, and had been found reciting comforting verses from the Qur'an, whether such a meme crediting 'Allah' for the woman's survival and rescue would have seen the light of day in this forum??
