Now that the chain is up there in age, so are its other numbers. Accoring to a company press release, White Castle has hit a major stat when it comes to sales. The company announced that it has sold more than 28 billion Original Sliders and Cheese sliders. Breaking that number down, the release explains that amounts to 22 billion restaurant purchases and 6 billion retail-related sales. And to truly mark this eye-popping occasion, White Castle has some serious celebratory plans for fans of their burgers to share in.

 

I made a fella jump and run away while helping him get his Chevy truck started late one night. All I did was open my trunk and pull out a baseball bat. When he finally came back I showed him how you could get the fuel pump to run, at least for a little while, by whacking the bottom of the fuel tank with the bat. Just like popping a switch panel off and tapping a power window motor with a broom stick to roll up a window, starting up a truck that a customer had towed in, and driving it in the shop really seems to bother them. Like I used some kind of voodoo magic on it or something.
