Yes, indeed I did...and quite consciously so...just demonstrating that Aussie's are not immune from Chello's critique....Ken, is not one of Australia's most stellar exports, but the US is welcome to him. It will be interesting how much he can suck out of the US taxpayer teat to get his "Ark" afloat.

Let me be clear, I think Sarah Palin is an idiot, at best. That said, she did not say that she could see Russia from her house, or anything like that. If you want hilarity to ensue, please provide something akin to proof. Quotes, URLs, that kind of thing. You know, youtube stuff. Anything. Barring that, shut your man-pleaser.

No. I stand corrected concerning the comment concerning Palin in relation to being able to see Russia from Alaska. Researching the evidence has altered my view. I have no problem correcting a statement that is factually incorrect. Would that others here were prepared to do the same.

I am not so convinced that facts are so precious to some in these forums as may be claimed; and although libel and slander may be against the law, it doesn't seem to deter some folks here, from blackguarding with a careless disregard for the facts, the political figures and ideologies contrary to those that critics support or believe. I'm not claiming a tu coque justification for being in error about what Palin is claimed to be able to see; just pointing out the need for some consistency in the claim that facts actually matter. When I see evidence of that consistency, then I'll be more inclined to take your remark seriously.

That was so eloquently put.....but factually incorrect and quite libellous. I am not gender prejudiced about how I please others with my intellect...you best be on your guard against the wrath of the chaplain, after all...libel is against the law, and facts matter!
