Looks like my Monday.

 

My AMX and Javelins were all automatics, sadly.

 

AMC always had some strange stuff going on. My last Jeep had a GM tilt column and an almost Ford ignition module that had one different wire. Some time in the mid 1980's Dad ordered an all wheel drive AMC Eagle with a stick shift after his 90 mile daily commute in a CJ5 messed up his back. It came from the factory with the same shift lever as a J10 pickup. They made no effort to shorten it to make it more fitting for a car. He drove that silly car like that until he finally traded it for a Jeep Eliminator pick-up that he removed all the stickers from. It was quite a sleeper with the 4.0L engine.

 

Had a lot of memorable times with french fries and flying rats.

#1 Son and I are probably the reason for lots of "Don't feed the birds signs."

A bag of popcorn and a flock of sea rats on a windy day in a parking lot full of shoppers is cheap entertainment.

 

We...a long time ago would put hot sauce on bread and throw it off the back of the tug.
It was on for only a few seconds and off they would go for a drink of water
