That explains the persuasive power of much effective propaganda and many conspiracy theories...the bull$h!t and baloney can be hidden behind a minute figleaf of what is actually true...but to be effective, it relies on the ignorance, gullibilty, self interest, and / or self delusion of the liar's mark, to grasp at the kernals of truth, and ignore or fail to see the big lies.

 

I thought it was a metaphor for the expression...."Spring is in the Air"

Both statements are true inependantly of each other, but in toto, the meme is misleading, and dishonest.

Human beings as a class are not biologically dependant on pharmaceuticals for survival, but it has to be said that the survival of many individual human beings would be foreshortened without access to efficacious phamaceutical products.

Pharmaceutical companies are dependant on human beings for their survival, but it has to be said that when pharmaceutical companies fail to deliver the benefits to the human consumer that it has claimed to offer, the continued survival of a pharmaceutical company may not be necessarily assured as an entity.

Indeed it is, though for some, stupid, irrational, and dishonest memes not only serve to confirm and entrench their own cognitive biases, they offer splendid opportunities for the kind of bonding that only tribal groupthink provides.

Commenting on the memes posted has been common enough throughout the history of the thread...I am merely, (as unappreciated as my meme responses sometimes are), simply adding my own contributions to that tradition.
