I mean, it was a long time ago, but I remember we had one of those Tonka car carriers (in the foreground). And that does look like me on the left by the fence.

Of course, it was a long time ago, so maybe my memory is slipping, and it's some other kid.

Yeah, it probably is. Dad or Grandpa would have skinned me for using one of their tools like that in the dirt.

 

Yes well why wasn't he able to hold down a job?

I've been at the same job for 22 years and have seen probably 100 employees come and go. I can tell you what I've observed.
Lazy
Stupid
Can't get to work on time (every day)
Drunk
High
Can't follow directions
Can't drive (Crashes every other car he drives)
Doesn't like to be told what to do
Can't manage a cash register (No kidding. I handed her a $20 bill and asked for "A ten, two fives and five ones" and got exactly that.... twice!)
Prefers to live in the woods
Works on his buddies car during working hours, without billing any labor.
Tells the boss she can't talk to him like that.

I'm sure I could come up with more if I gave it some thought, but I really don't care. I do know that none of them couldn't hold a job because of their race.
