Putin's disinformation is much like the the old communist disinformation...only that the disinformation is targeted at the political prostitutes on the right end of the US political spectrum.

Remember old Pencil Neck Shiff ,,,, he said he had " absolute positive proof of Russian collusion " ,, and as bad as he hates Trump ,,, never showed it . And if there was any proof ,, he'd have had more access to it than you ,,, but all you have is that little internet meme. I remember you telling someone here to fact check their memes they're posting,,, seems you need to heed your own advice .
But it is comical.
On a serious side ,,, I have been wanting to ask you your perspective of what's going on down there with these lockdowns and riots and stuff . From here , it's looking pretty,, authoritarian,,,, that's not what I perceived in your country. I've always wanted to visit there ,, now ,,, not so much.

 

Obama, Trump, Bush, Biden, Regan, Harris ... it applies to all of them.

 

The riots are mainly the work of the same kind of know nothing @$$wipes to be found on the other side of the big pond...with much the same mindset and agenda. I look at the government intervention in the Covid-19 global pandemic in much the same way as the country's various State and local governments impose restrictions on lighting fires during the summer season when the risk of uncontrolled bushfires tends to be greatest, and during declared total fire bans when weather conditions pose an extreme risk of bushfires starting, spreading out of control, posing extreme risks to life and property. Start a fire in Summertime without the appropriate fire permit, and meeting the conditions of the permit, then expect official sanctions...and if a non permitted fire results in loss of life / injury and/or property and/or habitat is damaged / destroyed...expect fines, and even jail time. Lighting a fire during a total fire ban can result in the same official sanctions. People have the personal freedom to smoke a cigarette in their car, but if a lit cigarette butt is negligently discarded by the smoker out of a car window, during a total fire ban day, then they only have themselves to blame if they face court with a possible fine or some jail time.

It's pretty much a question of balancing the needs of individuals against the needs of the community...Florida (21.48 million pop (2019)) and Australia (25.87 million pop (2021)) have a similar population, yet the SARS Cov-2 cases and death rates are very different.:

Australia and Florida have a similar population size but their COVID-19 policies are vastly different

Florida has a very much laissez-faire approach to mask wearing, vaccination, social distancing, congregating in enclosed spaces etc, whilst some Australian States (some with conservative governments and some with liberal governments) have a more restrictive approach to limiting the spread of the epidemic by regulating movement, congregating in large groups, introducing mask mandates and allowing vaccine mandates in certain private enterprise industries and government service providers like medical / nursing personnel, first responders etc.

Although Australia also has its share of D!kwad politicians...the Country and its States are nowhere near as authoritarian as the USA has come in latter years. Transfer of power from one government to the next tends to be relatively peaceable and painless, and there is a general confidence in the electoral systems in place in Australia...unlike American politics of late where man-children blame everyone else except accepting responsibility themselves for fact that they have stuffed up. Having said that, political parties on both ends of the spectrum have at times weakened the institutions which would maintain the balance of power between the three arms of government i.e., the legislative, the executive and the judiciary. The public service, which has traditionally been relatively apolitical, in more recent decades has tended towards the American model of populating the top echelons with political appointees (aka willing tools, hacks and donors)..

Median age is fairly close as well, with Florida at 41.6 and Australia at 37. It'd be interesting to see data on how a Covid-19 death was determined. (28-60 days after a positive test? With any Covid-19 present when tested at death, regardless of other factors?
Do the Covid deaths match the median age closely, or are deaths more among the elderly? Any comparison like this raises more questions. These answers may or may not agree with the original direction of the story. It'd be an interesting read, but I have to get some sleep.
