I have been using Yahoo for a mail account , but not since it is SO SLOW I've changed yet again !!
I thought it might be some of the blockers & filters I use , but no . I read this On my searching !

Because Neo Yahoo is poorly conceived and executed in an effort to entice the next wave of users. Clueless neophyte users who, with little comprehension of Yahoo's vast capability, will focus on text messaging vs. email. This is unfortunate for users who know how to manipulate Yahoo's capabilities to achieve their goals. More unfortunate, Neo Yahoo creators dumbed-down their previous program with an abundance of flash (and smoke), thus increasing the probability of service interruption.

For example, while I composed this response, Neo Yahoo's prompter interrupted my train of thought to inform me that a) I was using too much punctuation (WT...?); and b) to check my spelling, a bit impertinent on the part of a program whose spellcheck function doesn't. Or more trivial nonsense instead of focusing on Yahoo's base premise: To move information from account to account as swiftly as possible. Add the capability to attach information to a communication and there you have it.

And here we sit: Waiting, waiting, waiting. While Yahoo resorts to mundane telephone service to deal with their steadily more frantic, irritated customers. Not to mention that Yahoo believes we will pony up $19.95 per person per annum avoid their intrusive ads. How silly, promising the sun for a price, while other free programs actually provide dependable service. For free.

(Slower then a dead dog? I thought it more like tryin' to elbow a dinosaur outta the way of a Porsche (crunch). But your observation, i.e., slower then a dead dog, is much funnier!)

I like it, but in the top commie anti gun states you would have a SWAT team following you around.
