If the case fatality rate for covid was 30-50% then I would be first in line for the shot. However, for my health level and demographic it is less and .1%, i’ve had it already and have had reactions to other vaccines in the recent past so, nope. Not for me. I do however have a smallpox vaccine scar given to me by Uncle Sugar.

Are you suggesting that because the Loving v Virginia decision, and the Freedom Riders' activism happened so long ago (yet in the living memory of many people alive today), that the civil rights and freedoms won by liberal black and white folk coming together are unimportant, or inconsequential and not meriting acknowledgement. Candace is simply pandering to her right wing political constituency by suggesting that the left are fearful that white and black folk are 'coming together'.

I think that Owens, Sowel and Carson et al, are the Potemkin villages of conservative racial inclusion that the Right occasionally trots out to paper over the racism that sometimes tinges the Right's dog whistle polemics. To be fair to Candace, I don't think that she would approve or endorse convicted felon Enrique Tarrio, and his gang of Proud Boy thugs as being shining exemplars of the kind of inter-racial cooperation that she is suggesting...Though having said that...here are some shining examples of inter-racial 'coming together' That I guess that she might be comfortable with.
