I approached a very beautiful woman at the supermarket and said, “you know, I’ve lost my wife here in the supermarket, can you talk to me for a couple of minutes.”
“Why?” She asked.
I replied, “because every time I talk to a beautiful woman my wife appears out of nowhere.”

 

Hey, Canadian geese aren't a joke. They are hateful, hostile and will bite the snot out of you if you get too close.

 

Exactly. No matter how cute and fuzzy the babies look do NOT try and catch one unless you have some serious body armor on!

 

Couple of years ago, I was working one of the local high school graduations being held in a college basketball arena (huge high school) and people were lining up to get in.

Long story short, there are planters outside of the doors where the Canadian geese like to nest in the spring since there generally aren't many people around and there was momma sitting on a nest just watching the line outside very guardedly. Most people were giving her a wide berth save one younger girl who wanted to "pet the pretty duck." I told her "that duck doesn't want to be petted" and her father told her the same. Eventually curiosity got the better of her and she reached out to "pet the duck." Came back with a sore hand as momma hissed good at her.

The girl's father just chuckled and chalked it up to a life learning experience.

 

My late father told me when he was a kid, only the rich ate goose, the poor folks ate duck. In my youth, goose was illegal to hunt, and the rich ate duck. Us regular folks ate chicken, sometimes turkey for the holidays.

 

…… I am on my 3rd SV6 (V6 vs V8) and have not had an issue. I am just annoyed that with GM all but pulling out of Aus that I don’t have many options for a full sized RWD sedan !!!

I know Kentucky recently changed their law to prohibit wearing hats in drivers license pictures.
I've walked right past guys I've known for years because I couldn't recognize then without their hat.
I'm betting this guy, at 5' 7" and 250 pounds got away with the "hat" in Arizona because they didn't
want to deal with a large crazy man.
