I don't follow baseball, but I'd sure like to hear why this is happening.

 

Would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

I remember around 1988, throwing pine cones and yelling "GRENADE!" We didn't even need blank firing attachments. Couldn't even get blanks. Marines ran around the woods yelling "BANG" or "BUTTA, BUTTA, BUTTA!" The only thing that went bang on a couple training exercises were the bottle rockets and firecrackers that the First Sergeant and I would launch and set off. The only good thing was that we could get weapons turned in at the armory in a hurry, since nobody had fired them.

 

The back-blast is going to ruin her hair.

 

Yes ,, but without that sacrifice,, just think of those that were spared the effects of that same trajedy ,,,,,, plus the comedic value ,,,,
