Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

Yup. Looks to be in the late 20s. Eureka vacs weren't marketed on the street, they were all sold by door to door sales until the 30s or so I was told. (But we KNOW that isn't what you meant ---)

 

I was amazed that it popped out that quickly.

Couldn't be. McDonald's wasn't founded until 1954.

 

I see that the Motivational posters thread has now morphed into the political motivational / demotivational posters thread

 

Gotta love MAGA Zombie fantasy videos....in reality...Donald is more like Abe Simpson than John Wick or Captain America.

The mods have locked down the political motivational posters thread (from 'The Inferno Forum', which is visible to SM members only, and not casual visitors to the site), because of the antagonistic nature of a number of the memes being posted, and it would seem that the same eventual fate may also befall the Motivational Posters thread, should the political antagonism (even if dressed up as parody / satire) merely migrates to this thread.

It is worth noting Brokor's sage advice about "posting political motivational posters for fun":

I appreciate that a .gif or an .mp4 clip is not a poster, but that quibble doesn't hide the fact they are also images which may become "a spectacle for some and bewildering to others."
