Cute. No, last time I tangled with raccoons, it was a pack of them (4-5, don't remember exactly) it was dark, and I was dumping trash bags into our alley dumpster. It was a campus area, so I had a quarterstaff for two legged varmints, didn't expect the attack I got, when I raised the lid. I broke my staff while beating 3 to death. 1-2 got away. They were ALL bigger than that one. Since then, I have smoked a few out of chimneys, and chased two out of a basement, but haven't had to get up close and personal.
