The “I’m Sorry” Campaign is the original activism of Christians apologizing to the LGBTQ community for the ways they have harmed them. This campaign is our first step towards relational reconciliation in a tangible way.


Lifeline Expedition is a non-profit organization founded in 1997 by Briton David Pott.[1] The group believes white people must apologize for the Atlantic slave trade, and that forgiveness can be granted by black people from areas that were involved in it.

A wooden yoke, the kind usually reserved for oxen, was fitted around his neck and he was locked in next to another person.
Jacob, his family, and a small group of people were in Annapolis, Md., wearing black T-shirts that read "So Sorry" in white block letters.
The group began to walk. The only sound was the clinking of chains, a haunting reminder of how slaves were once herded along trading routes to auction blocks to be sold like cattle.
Jacob is white.
That's why he believes he should apologize to blacks for slavery. His race bought and sold slaves.

Wow - talk about self-loathing.

BTW - I ran a family history - all from Germany BTW - never played the slave game. My ancestors showed up in the US in the 1870s. So I guess I'm not sorry for something a dead person did to another dead person generations past....that my tribe had nothing to do with in the first place.

 

So, when are the blacks going to apologize for selling, buying and mistreating slaves? How about the Japanese?

I didn't think so...

 

Thinking a person who never owned slaves owes ANYTHING to a person that never was a slave is the height of liberal stupidity. All this talk about reparations and white guilt is nothing more than liberals trying to buy black votes they have owned since Lyndon Johnson came up with the idea of paying people for doing nothing back in the 60's. Give a man a fish every day and he will vote for you forever.
