At a recent reunion, eight former Apollo astronauts, and three of the four living men to have walked on the moon, gathered together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing.

 

Bravo, guys!!

 

So much good came out of the space program, and people deny we actually went to the moon. We need to go back!

 

I say we send a bunch of people to the moon ,,,,,we could start with our democrats so they could establish their castles for when their peasants arrive .

 

Naw forget the moon. Ask Mr.Musk to drop them off at a bus stop halfway to Mars. They can walk from there.

My heroes have always been Space Cowboys. In 1963 my brother-in-law worked at NASA and with the original seven astronauts. The stories he told made them seem almost super human. And maybe, they where. His favorite was Alan Shepard. They were all small men and maybe to make up for it, Shepard had taps on the entire bottom of his shoes, like a tap dancer. You could hear him coming down the hall long before you could see him.
