Reminds me of some air wingers I found hiding at Cherry Point. They had ended their Marine Corps careers before I arrived. I just did the paperwork to tie up the loose ends. Three weigh-ins, two courts-martial and an early retirement later I had a unit free of walking food blisters.

If you're down that way don't miss a stop at Joe's Older Than Dirt in Lyndon (East Louisville) for lunch. Online pictures look like a building inspector may have made them tidy the place up. I remember an oak tree growing through the dining area, and a dusty stuffed squirrel watching diners from above. Just look for the moose and pig on the lawn.
