Colorado held their meeting on Monday. What a mess...

 

When I lived in Eastern Idaho we got this first snowfall of every winter. It was great because all the bald tire and bad driver crowd was off the road for a month while their cars were in the shop. Living in Eastern Idaho was also where I learned that you can find duct tape to match almost every car color and why they make transparent red tape (to fill the gaps in broken tail lights).

 

Seeing that picture of the car covered in ice reminds me how ignorant people are not having the sense to cover the car while not in use .
It paid off for me every singe time in morning, more than just being able to shake of the snow fold up the tarp and slide it under my seat and drive away, while every one else is still trying to get their door open scrape off the windshield and get the car started.
You can try teaching common sense, but only a rare few learn anything.

 

That's cold!

 

We used to hang onto the back of the bus and get a free ride to our driveway from the corner bus stop like that. Trouble was, you couldn't see what was in the other lane, and couldn't see those totally bare patches of gravel. That was hard on shoes... and clothes, knees, hands...
