If it's in a dry environment you could add a little (just a little) black powder as a kicker. Smoke everything up so they can't see AND make them stink! Alternatively, some of the new pepper foam with dye agents is downright evil. I'd hate to be trapped in a crawl space or an attic after getting a face full of that! It's tough to stand up and run away when you're under the house... and blue! OUCH!

Unless the intruder is in the same neighborhood as a Blue Man Group concert he'll be easy to spot.

 

No trigger discipline at all! A good example of why the 1911 grip safety is a genius idea, and may have prevented this. Keeping your booger-hook off the trigger is always better.



Speaking of negligent discharges, have you seen the new, really wide, metal coat hooks in airport bathroom stalls? They look like an extra wide shoe horn bent in a big U shape. I asked about them in Charlotte, and was told that they'd been installed after a police officer who hung his handgun on the old style hook managed to fire off several rounds trying to get it off the hook. Glock trigger safety fails the bathroom coat hook challenge.
