Monkeyman on Fort Clatsop build

Last I heard (a couple weeks ago) they didnt have an airdate locked yet but it is supposed to be like the later part of this month or some time next month on the History channel. It will likely be hyped as they were thinking of makeing it an ongoing series if it dose well. The series will be called the big build, there are 6 of them already that will air this fall. Its produced by Actuality productions, the same guys who do modern marvels. It should be awsome, they had like 60 hours of tape that was all good to rend down to 50 minutes or so.

 

The original is in Oregon IIRC but we did our replica in Kansas.

 

Ok the update I got from John today is that the air date should be Wed Nov. 24 at 11:00 PM but not sure what time zone on the History channel. Im the big goofey one in the camo boonies hat. Look for it, should be pretty cool.

Yeah, and if I dont get it recorded localy or a free copy from the producers then I may have to get a copy from you all too, we dont have cable around here and havent gotten a dish.

 

My brother works for Direct TV...I'll see if I can get him (well it'd be his wife and I don't know if she'll remember) to record it at their place too (he'll most likely be asleep since he's got to be up at 3am to go to work). That way they'll be two copies. One for Quig and one for you MM.

 

Well, no need to bother them yet, my mom has cable and will probably record it and the producers said at the time when asked that the crew would be able to get copies of it, so we'll wait and see but its nice to know there will be copies around anyhow, thanks.
