Ah. NOW I understand the 12 ton press, and why the mashing I was giving it was doing no good. Thanks, that will get me headedinanother direction. Really thought pulling the barrel would be a bigger headache.
Pulling the barrel was easy, just need some elbow grease turning it. The barrel pin, now that is another story. We had to use a really good air hammer to knock the pins 1/2 out, then drive them the rest of the way with the press.
I'm going to have to pay a visit on my 'smith and find out why my AK park jobs have been shelved. Maybe they're done?
