Lots more info on Amaranth and seeds.

I'd love to try some of this stuff in Kentucky because of the success in Missouri with the Plainsman variety. This has just caught my eye and I was already thinking of wheat, but this looks even better than wheat.

 

My Golden Giant Amaranth and Hopi Red Dye Amaranth are up, and seem to be doing well. I have them in planters right now, and need to transplant them to their beds soon. I still need to transplant some wild Green Amaranth as well. I want to check the yield of the Green, non-domesticated, variety against the domesticated ones. I'll let you guys know what I find.
