$400,000 donated to demoRATS was that a bribe to keep the wolves( demoRATS) away from Liberty Safes door? Just the same i would never buy one of their safes

$400,000!!! That makes no sense...the Dems are anti-gun, it's one of their pillars in their march to Marxism. Why in the world would a gun safe company give money to politicians that would put them out of business? Somedays things just don't pass the logic test...

    Zimmy Wait, I'm not ready!

If the Dems can enact and enforce stricter in-home gun lock-up mandates (to protect the children, of course) the safe manufacturers will come out huge winners.

I'm willing to bet the new minimum security standard for home gun safes will be about where the cheapest Liberty Safe is at.

Safe companies aren't in the gun business. They are in the Safe business.

If I had a Liberty safe I'd probably keep combustible materials inside, 20 #'s ball bearings, Trip wire...
    That's a big if?

From a locksmith, 99% of ALL electronic locks have a back door HOWEVER, to replace your electronic lock with a manual lock is easy peasy.

Yeah, the Feds and liberal states will require registration, insurance and gun safes! Every year more and more guns will be banned, insurance rates will go up and minimum requirements for safes will change (always going up) to the point that it is costing thousands of dollars per year to keep a few guns valued at less than $1000! NEVER EVER REGISTER YOUR GUNS! Bury them in the woods, if necessary...and wait for the day when they are needed!

    Oops they're fckn done.
Liberty safes gave money to the gun violence prevention task force.
The gun violence prevention task force is pushing a law that will force people to buy a gun safes and there's probably some other authoritarian gun grabber shit stuck in there too because whenever they pass a new gun law it never only does one thing and it never does the thing they say it will do.

Just remember, that the FBI had a valid search warrant!

I'm willing to bet there are five (10 at most) reset codes for Liberty Safes.

Once the feds have them they don't need to call the manufacturer any more.

I'm sure that can be found on a locksmith forum with a few questions

The point is the safe company didn't have to give up the code just because of the search warrant. The correct answer was say no, the fbi gets a safe cracker or legally compels liberty safes to give up the code with a subpoena.

My understanding is that to change the type of lock is fairly simple, they both have the same footprint. Having a locksmith do the work is a very smart idea.
