Notice He's not using some toy folding saw for processing the wood.
I have things together for INCH , it's just that the prospect of it at this part of the country is just not practical .
However , should I move to another part of the country ( not SHTF ),I'm glad to have the tools so that I can build a reasonable structure .
My advise ,
Plan to do the most radical , with all the knowledge and resources available, even if it's not appropriate i the place one is currently in.
In the event you must move, these tools and education go with you ,till it becomes necessary to implement them in a real emergency.
If the emergency never comes ,these things can be passed down to fallowing generations.
Because no matter how good things may look for a while , they can change in a moment , 9/11 .
