I was rather hoping they would attempt to secede then get buyer's remorse when the food producing red areas told them to FOAD and got left with a bunch of isolated overpopulated cities. Georgia is having such fun vote tampering in Biden's favor they are now counting and recounting their Senate contest to flip blue. "Officially" Biden will be President, the Senate will flip blue, and the HR will manage to stay blue.

 

I'm sure that the newly armed liberals that ran out to get ar-15s and pistols at greatly inflated prices to wage war on conservatives will be glad that they'll get pennies on the dollar for a mandatory by-back.

DW, Yes, exactly. They will do nothing as physical as trying to get rid of the 2A or confiscate firearms because it would push people over the edge. They will go the same route as California making it next to impossible or perhaps tax it so heavily that it's financially impossible for common people. It would be nice if they would make a mistake and push too hard but they won't and they don't have to...and they know it.

If half of the country stopped paying their taxes, things could get interesting. Say you will gladly pay your taxes to a legitimate government but not to one that won by corruption and fraud.

I think it’ll be a multiprong approach... like how China finds those against their policies...your ‘friends’ will turn and out you for free money. There will be laws against buying and owning them too. Of course this will be after the economy finally tanks (its been headed that way for a while).

 

He'd probably attempt through bipartisan means at first to try and separate himself out from Trump. However, Republicans and Trump set a very dangerous precedent with the whole executive action thing these past 4 years. And wouldn't be surprised if he rammed some stuff through.
