I'd be inclined to borrow an analyzer and mark the wire at home. Every club has at least ONE member with the "right" tools. And no, I would not be surprised to find the coil remaining on the spool adds inductance, but if the wire is marked according to the measured resonance, it won't matter. Well, I don't think so, anyway.

Remote locations are cheap insurance.
