I have never had a like of trouble out of my Dad's Mossy 500....Love that danged thing...I have a Maverick 88, basically the same gun...works great.
The Remington 870 elevator hinges off the trigger group, so it rams the shell at an angle. The Mossberg elevates the shell to level, and rams it from there. I have the identical model, the "Vertically Challenged" one with the tubes. It is slick as any pump I ever shot.
Hey T, just get some .45 ACP bird shot and call it your shotgun, these people wouldn't know the difference
I have 2, a winchester Defender and a M1super90 combat...8 rounds in way less than 3 seconds. from the time i pull the trigger i can empty it befor the first empty shotshell hits the ground.
