Perhaps your perspective in this very temporary existence differs from the other more permanent one. Perhaps you understood the necessity for a purpose you are unable to understand now that you are here. Perhaps that purpose is more important than riches, comfort, and other carnal desires. Perhaps that lady had greater understanding. If nothing else she made a lasting impression on you that resulted in thought.
