If it works that's all that counts . You know me if it ain't broke don't fix it . I had my little lathe stolen from the place we had things stored for the move . I'm still looking for the guy that got in there and one day I'll find who did it . So now all I got is the ten foot one and the Index mill They were to big for anybody to move without notice. I still say you do some the best work around on the AK . That's not bragging just fact .
This thing is going to be too purdy to shoot. I was showing pictures of it today to people at work, like I was showing off with pictures of my kids. Hey, a man has to have priorities.
That was one of the best threads ever on the board. I think those pics are lost, but if they are not Mags you need to find them and put them back in the thread so it can be bumped.
Is that the one where he took it for a ride on the chain down the road ,I like to say over the river and through the woods to damage control center .[rofllmao]
Here we go, big Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!! to Magnus for his work. As always, it was absolutely fantastic. I could not be more pleased. I cannot wait to take this thing out and run a few mags through it. Of course the white line on the receiver is where I blotted out the serial #.
Here it is in the more compact version. Easy to conceal. If I had to walk out somewhere, this would fit well in a backpack, hidden away. I really like the "all-black" look. I cannot say enough about the work that Magnus does. It is really outstanding. Nobody takes more pride in their work than he does, amazing attention to detail. Everyone on this board that has a single fluorescent light in their house should give him a call. In just a few minutes, he showed me just how good our kitchen could look with the "day light" lights he has. We replaced every light in our kitchen with his lights, even the ones that had not burned out. These lights are phenominal, the light output makes the kitchen feel like there is a giant skylight in the middle of it. My wife will never buy another type of light. My daughter walked in the kitchen when she got in last night and said "WOW! We thought it was well lit before, but now it seems like it was a dungeon. Ask him, and he can bring light, when otherwise darkness prevails.
Glad you like it Liking it in pics and in person are two different things! Just for clarity sake, the Yellowy (MIDDLE) florescent isn't mine. The lights I sell are the far outside that have the bluey like reflection. I sold EL the last 4 of those I had on the truck and he has the rest coming.
Not yet, still working 7 days a week. Planning on shooting it the week of July 4th when we are going to the ranch.
I didn't have the opportunity to shoot it, between the 8 hour trip down there, the reunion, staying with the in-laws for a couple of days while I finished the summer session working on two finals, a discussion board, and a research paper, then driving another four hour to Corpus, staying a day and a half and driving another eight hours home, man I just did not have time to do squat. I am dying to shoot it.
