Here's the thing, governments are going to back and link the CBDCs to gold and silver. Nobody is going to use gold and silver because its very hard to transport so they will end up supporting CBDCs even with all of the tracking and spyware. The only people who are going to be free in the next few years will be using Bitcoin. There really is no other option.
