Do you take before and after pictures with your garden?

Your gardens really inspire me. I want to try to grow garlic this year, but the last time I tried in 2021, I got great starts, but they failed once they went into the ground. I think that my soil wasn't deep enough. Do you have any tips for growing garlic? It's about that time of year!

I did recognize the onions, but I had a feeling you might know about garlic too. I am in growing zone 12B so it is very hot and humid here.

What a cool and important profession you have!
I think you're doing great with the gardening. It sounds like you have a perfect trade off in place with the ladies there.
I'm fairly new to gardening too. The climate has changed so much in the 5 years that I've lived here and I'm enjoying the learning curve. This morning, I started getting corn! It's very exciting!

The girls say for your Garlic , Raised bed in part shade , lots of good compost ,plant 4" apart and keep covered with lots of leaves/mulch to keep the sun from drying the soil . pointy end up and 1.5 inch down because of heat .
    keep watered / moist 3 " down

One woman is a pro gardener and also a farmer teacher.
And yes im lucky with lots of woman friends ,

Thank you so much for asking and for sharing their advice with me. I'm going to do exactly this. I think my issues were too much sun and that the soil got too dry.

    Let's go for a walk!
I'm glad that we are starting to get some rain at night, but it's still very hot throughout the day. The black beans don't love this tropical climate, but black eyed peas are tolerating the heat very well.
I was so excited to see some pattypan squash come through! This experimental 3 sister's garden is doing well, but I do hear the pigs at night and they tried to dig up some of my corn.
Most nights have sunsets like this one. I hope you will all have a wonderful weekend.
I'm getting ready to travel and will really miss my gardens, but I'll try to take pictures of gardens that I see.
