Pretty much, Kingfish. There are a lot of our branches of the govt with their own jack booted storm troopers. I see a need for very few, and small groups if needed. IRS needs none, as it should be abolished and replaced with a flat tax. INS has proved to be inept in the use of it's blacked out, body armored jack booted thugs in the snatching of Elian Gonzales after his mom sacrificed his life for her freedom. Janet Reno at her best. I think much of the special officer groups should be restored to regular officer duties and give up the black storm trooper uniforms. IMTO, of course.

 

....and if felons lose gun rights, then which unarmed jack booted thugs are volunteering to remove guns from angry CT gun owners? That sounds like a Darwin award winner, or at least an "honorable mention".

 

Herein lies the rub, gents. In order for the now felonious police to actually BE felons, they must be charged with and found guilty of the felony in which they are purportedly guilty. Who, may I ask is going to charge, jail, and convict the police force members? They do not lose their rights to own weapons unless they are CONVICTED of a felony.
