Our Husqvarna plant just shut down permanently. Said they are going all battery. They made weed eaters and some saws.
Noticed a couple years ago Stihl was advertising nothing but electric. It *seems* like they have backed off that a bit as far as advertising. The local dealers seem to carry the electric stuff, but it looks like more of a side show than the main focus.
Have a Husqvarna Ranch hand 455 chain saw been a good saw. Bought a Husqvarna weed eater (gas) thought it would be a good weed eater (wrong) Husqvarna bought out Poulan and it was jut a Plan branded Husky (junk). So Husqvarna has gone electric. Wonder what that means for replacement parts. Had to wait a year and a half for parts for my Husky lawn mower.
