Cats

Bobby as a feral kitten who'd just been caught. I made the mistake of letting her loose in the house. She remained mostly feral, but inside the house and garage. Like a tiny tabby ghost, avoiding all human contact for about two years before she got comfortable enough to let us get hold of her again to get her fixed. She came to us as a lone kitten, and is terribly small even now that she's a dozen years old. My sweet little Bobby cat.

 

Dog, as found, between the rear tires of a school bus at the bus garage. He still has a broken tail that's healed at a strange angle, but he cleaned up nicely and has grown up into a beautiful boy. My buddy, Dog.

 

I've been bathing cats for at least 25 years. I never get a scratch. Let the cat wear itself out in the soapy tub. Just stay out of the way. Not like this. This is how you become a scratching post.

 

I can't be sure, but kitty may only have one eye. I have had several one eyed cats and they can't seem to judge height. My little Q-Tip would jump from the floor to the top of the refrigerator, clear it by several inches and land on all four feet on the top. Two eyed cats scratch and claw their way up the sides of things with too short a jump.
